Service Description

Choosing a doula is a personal decision, and you deserve to feel comfortable with the person supporting you. LHBC has 2 options for new or expecting parents. First is a 30 minute FREE consultation: a relaxed, no-pressure opportunity for us to connect, and for you to share what you’re looking for in a doula. We’ll discuss your hopes, questions, concerns, and the kind of support that would feel most helpful to you. I’ll also share more about Little Hare Birth Care, my approach to doula care, and what you can expect when working with me. Second is our 1 hour personalized support session where we spend more dedicated time diving deeper into your individual needs and goals. Depending on where you are in your journey, we may discuss birth preferences, comfort measures, partner support, postpartum preparation, newborn care, recovery, emotional support, or other areas where you’d like guidance. This session is tailored to you and provides dedicated time to create a personalized plan for the support you want before, during, and/or after birth. (Please note that although the doula's availability hours are 12AM to 12AM for overnight birth & postpartum shifts, consultations will only be scheduled from 9AM UNTIL 5PM.)
